Todstock Festival 2020

Return of the legendary Todmorden music event

Todstock Returns!

Todstock festival is back on the 11th and 12th July 2020, Todmorden’s greatest festival returns for a massive 2 day weekend event.

With multiple stages covering all types of music, food and drinks stalls, inflatables and children’s activities, Todstock is a family friendly inclusive festival set over two days in Centre Vale Park. It is run entirely by volunteers and welcomes sponsorship from local businesses and individuals.

In the past the festival has been a free event which was only possible due to the efforts of our volunteers and the gracious attitude of the acts, bands and performers who on the most part performed for free.

This year we have intoduced a small charge for entry so our line up will be filled by a wider range of well known acts which in turn will attract a lot more visitors so we will need better security in the form of trained and certified security staff, fencing around the entire festival and trained St Johns ambulance personnel. These measures will ensure that our family orientated festival will be a fun and enjoyable event with performers that will appeal to as many people as possible over the 2 days.

The entry fee is only intended to cover the costs of the festival as we do not put on the festival to make a profit, quite the reverse, the festival aims to bring the the community together by involving volunteers and local businesses to create an event that will attract music lovers from near and afar. Early bird tickets are already on sale at a greatly reduced price so we can raise the funds to get the festival planning off to a good start, so please grab these tickets while you can.

The festival opening times will be 12pm-9pm on Saturday 11th July 2020 and 12pm-6pm on Sunday 12th July 2020, we will have various micro breweries and a festival beer tent open during these hours and due to licensing laws no alchohol can be brought into the festival, an amnesty bin will be at the festival entrance so that visitors who are not aware of this can safely dispose of their alchohol and avoid being refused entry.

Todmorden has various hotels, B&Bs and camp sites which can be booked through the accomodation link at the top of the page, there are also several accomodation options through Air BnB which can be also be found on our accomodation page, camping is not allowed anywhere on or around the site and we ask that you respect the local area by not setting up camp on public land.

Please get in touch with us using the form on the contact page if you want to perform, we welcome enquiries from artists, bands and DJs. Spaces are limited and the committee will be selecting from those submissions in due course.

If you would like to help and/or volunteer please get in touch with us using the form on the contact page. We are looking for volunteers for the festival weekend and also for various tasks leading up to the event.
